Tuesday night was full of excitement as the results from the Primary of my race for 15th District Milwaukee County Supervisor came in. I would first and foremost like to thank the voters of the 15th District for moving me on to the General Election. Thank you as well to all my supporters, including friends and family, who have been working so diligently for the past few months, without you we could not be where we are. Also, I would like to congratulate and thank Daniel Cody, who ran a strong and thoughtful campaign, and was nothing less than a gentleman throughout the past few months. I wish him and his family the best with everything that they undertake in the future.
Tuesday’s Primary election showed that the residents of the 15th District are poised for a change, and I hope to be their choice on April 1st. I plan on continuing to run a fair campaign that emphasizes the fact that we are ready for a change, ready to bring new energy to our County Board. I would like to congratulate the incumbent, Lynne De Bruin, on her Primary victory, but she did not receive 50% of the vote. My opponent has had plenty of time to make change, and it has yet to be seen. It is time for a new generation. Her lack of progress is evident in her leadership as the Parks Board Chair, as our parks continue to suffer; it is that lack of leadership and change that the residents of the 15th district are tired of seeing. I want be the energetic voice that the 15th District deserves. As a fiscally conservative candidate I want to emphasize my never-ending quest to find new solutions to conserving our property tax dollars. Thanks again to the voters and all those that have helped me thus far, with your help I look forward to serving the 15th District after this April’s General election.
