Milwaukee County Supervisor 15th District General Election (April 1st, 2008)

This past Tuesday night was a rollercoaster for us as the results came in. Initially the numbers looked as though our chances were slim, but as the night came to a close we were separated by only 170 votes. Coming that close to winning an election against a 16 year incumbent makes us very proud of the campaign we ran. I would like to congratulate Lynne DeBruin on her victory and the respectful campaign she ran. Thank you to all of you that supported me in this election; the voters, volunteers, and supporters in and out of the 15th District, without you none of this would have been possible. A lot of time and effort went into this election by many people, I would like to extend a special thanks to all of those who helped out in any way on this campaign. We may not have won this one, but we will be back, bringing the knowledge and experience we have gained from this successful campaign. Thanks again to all the voters of the 15th District, 5,484 of you supported us at the polls, and for that we are very grateful.
